For plants that cannot stop production to get solar built

Installation

Built by our own crews, tested before we hand you the keys.

Structure, modules, inverters, cabling and protection — installed by directly employed teams working to a method statement, around your shifts, and signed off against IEC 62446-1 before energisation.

What we install

Three trades, one crew, one accountable manager.

Mechanical, electrical and grid work sit under a single site manager, so nothing falls between contractors.

01

Mechanical

Roof preparation, rail and clamp systems set out to the approved layout, torque-controlled and corrosion-protected.

  • Purlin and sheet checks before the first fixing
  • Anodised rail, SS304 fasteners
  • Non-penetrating clamps where the profile allows
  • Walkways and safety lines reinstated
02

Electrical

DC stringing, combiner boxes, inverters, AC cabling and protection installed to the single-line diagram.

  • Labelled strings and continuity checks
  • Type II SPD on DC and AC
  • Earthing to IEC 62305
  • Cable routes sized for volt drop
03

Grid & commissioning

Synchronisation with the utility, protection settings proven, and the plant handed over with a full test pack.

  • IEC 62446-1 commissioning tests
  • Insulation and IV-curve baselines
  • Utility inspection and meter change
  • Monitoring live before handover

Build timeline

Ten weeks from mobilisation to energisation.

Indicative for a 500 kWp – 2 MWp rooftop. Your programme is fixed at design freeze and tracked weekly.

Milestone: energisation and handover

Working around you

Your lines keep running while we build.

A rooftop install should cost you nothing in production. We plan the programme around your shifts and reduce the tie-in to a single, scheduled outage.

Installation is included in every EPC contract — and available on its own if your design is already done.

See the EPC scope
  • We work around your shifts

Roof work planned against your production calendar, with night and holiday windows where a line cannot stop.

  • One shutdown, scheduled

Only the final tie-in needs an outage — typically a few hours, booked weeks ahead and rehearsed.

  • Clean as we go

Daily housekeeping, swarf control and drainage checks so the roof is handed back in better condition.

  • One site manager

A named site manager and a daily progress log with photos, so you never chase an update.

Quality & safety

Nothing is energised until it is proven.

Every install is documented: method statements before mobilisation, torque and insulation records during, and a commissioning pack at handover that your lender or insurer can read.

FAQ

What plant managers ask before we mobilise

Downtime, crews, duration, handover and the monsoon.

Ask an engineer

Almost never. Roof and DC work happens while you run; only the final grid tie-in needs a short planned outage, which we book with you weeks ahead.

Our own directly employed crews under a named site manager — not a chain of subcontractors. Every installer is inducted, trained for working at height and covered by our HSE policy.

Six to ten weeks from mobilisation to energisation for a 500 kWp to 2 MWp rooftop, depending on roof type, access and utility scheduling.

As-built drawings, the IEC 62446-1 commissioning test pack, insulation and IV-curve baselines, equipment warranties, the O&M manual and monitoring already live.

We plan around it: structural work is front-loaded into dry windows, open DC terminations are never left overnight, and roof penetrations are sealed and tested the same day.

Free · no obligation
