EMERGEDPower Distribution

Solutions

Clean power engineered for the site you actually have.

Roof, land, water — or a grid you can't rely on. Compare all six systems on size, capex model and payback, or let an engineer tell you which fits in a single site visit.

Compare

All six systems, side by side.

The five numbers owners ask about first. Hybrid is where most grid-connected factories start.

Paybacks are indicative simple paybacks against your current grid or diesel cost. Off-grid is measured against diesel; IPP is equity payback under a 20-year PPA.

The systems

Start with where the power will live.

A roof, a stretch of land, a lagoon or a battery bay beside the substation. Each system is engineered, financed and maintained by one team.

On your roof

On-grid Solar

Grid-tied rooftop solar with net-metering: the lowest cost per unit, with no battery to pay for.

On land and water

IPP

Independent power projects developed, financed, built and operated for the national grid.

Not sure which fits?

Three questions. One place to start.

Tell us about your grid, your space and what matters most. Then let an engineer confirm it on site — free, with a written report.

The site assessment includes

  • 01Site walk & structural surveyRoof, land or water surface, shading and access checked by a named engineer.
  • 02Load & tariff analysisThree years of DESCO, DPDC, REB or PBS bills against your shift pattern.
  • 03Written recommendationSystem type, size, savings forecast and payback within 10 working days.

01How reliable is your grid connection?
02Where is your spare space?
03What matters most right now?

Answer all three to see which system we'd model first. It's a starting point — the site assessment confirms structure, load and tariff.

Ask an engineer

Most grid-connected RMG and textile plants in Gazipur, Ashulia, Savar and Narayanganj choose hybrid rooftop solar: the battery protects dyeing, washing and knitting lines from load-shedding while solar cuts the daytime bill. If your feeder is stable and your load is daytime-only, a net-metered roof without batteries pays back faster.

No. Rooftop and hybrid systems can be bought outright, leased under a RESCO model with zero upfront cost (you pay per unit, below your grid tariff), or supplied under a PPA for larger sites. We can also structure green-finance options through partner banks and IDCOL where eligible.

Allow roughly 90 sq ft of shade-free roof per kWp, including walkways. A 10,000 sq ft roof supports about 110 kWp, which generates around 1.4 lakh kWh a year in Bangladesh conditions.

A standard grid-tied (net-metering) system shuts down when the grid fails — that anti-islanding protection keeps utility line crews safe. Hybrid, off-grid and ESS systems have batteries and an inverter that forms its own supply, so critical loads keep running.

Yes, at lower output. Generation from June to August is typically 25–35% below the March–May peak. The annual yield figure we use (about 1,300 kWh per kWp) already accounts for it, and off-grid systems are sized on the worst month rather than the average.

Rooftop and hybrid systems typically take 12–16 weeks, off-grid 8–14 weeks, floating solar 6–9 months, and a utility-scale IPP three to four years to commercial operation, most of it in permitting and financing.
