Energy Storage Systems

Shave the peak. Ride through the outage.

Containerised LFP storage that cuts evening peak demand, carries critical loads through load-shedding and steadies solar output on the grid — sized from your own load data.

Why storage now

The expensive kilowatts arrive after sunset.

Bangladesh's grid peaks in the evening, exactly when solar stops producing and load-shedding bites hardest. A battery moves cheap energy into those hours.

  • Peak shavingHold demand under your contracted limit through the 17:00–23:00 peak and cut demand-related charges.
  • BackupCritical lines switch to battery in under 20 ms — no genset start gap, no scrapped batch.
  • Grid stabilityFast frequency response, ramp-rate control and firming that let more solar connect to the grid.

Site demand over a weekday, kW

The battery discharges above a 900 kW cap in the evening peak and recharges from 00:00 to 06:00.

Use cases

Three jobs a battery does better than a generator.

The same LFP platform, configured by its control logic: shave, back up or support the grid — or stack all three.

Battery chemistry

Why every system we build is LFP.

Lithium iron phosphate trades a little energy density for the cycle life, thermal stability and heat tolerance a Bangladeshi plant room actually needs.

Typical ranges from manufacturer datasheets at 25 °C and rated C-rate. Actual cycle life depends on depth of discharge, temperature and charge rate.

Sizing guidance

Sized from your meter data, not a rule of thumb.

Power (kW) sets how much load the battery can carry. Energy (kWh) sets for how long. Get either wrong and you pay for capacity you never use.

    Log the load

Twelve months of utility interval data, or two to four weeks of 15-minute logging on the main incomer.

  2. 02

    Set the target

A peak cap in kW and a window in hours — or the critical load and ride-through time for backup.

  3. 03

    Size the power

PCS rating ≥ peak to shave × 1.1, or critical load × 1.25 where motors create inrush.

  4. 04

    Size the energy

Divide the energy to deliver by usable depth of discharge, discharge efficiency and end-of-life state of health.

  5. 05

    Check the site

~15 m² per MWh containerised, fire separation distances, plinth above flood level and warranty throughput.

FAQ

Storage questions, answered plainly

Lifespan, safety, retrofits and payback.

Ask an engineer

LFP systems are typically warranted for 10 years or 6,000 cycles to around 70–80% of original capacity, whichever comes first. With one cycle a day and good thermal control, 15 years of service is realistic.

LFP is the most thermally stable lithium chemistry in commercial use. Our containers add cell-level monitoring, liquid cooling, gas detection, suppression and deflagration venting, and are sited to NFPA 855 separation distances.

Yes. AC-coupled storage connects to your main switchboard alongside existing inverters. We check protection settings and export limits as part of the design.

Peak-shaving and backup systems typically pay back in 5–8 years, depending on your tariff category, how often you shed load and how much diesel the battery displaces.

It does. A battery can charge from the grid overnight and discharge in the evening peak, or sit ready as backup. Pairing with solar improves the economics further.
