For factory & commercial rooftop owners

Rooftop Solar

Turn idle factory roofs into your cheapest kilowatt-hour.

Rooftop solar generates at a fraction of the grid tariff on space you already own — with or without batteries, with or without the grid. Engineered for corrugated RMG sheds, RCC commercial roofs, monsoon rain and cyclone-season wind.

What it solves

Four problems on a factory P&L. One roof that fixes them.

Owners don't buy panels — they buy a lower cost per unit, fewer stopped lines and an audit trail their buyers accept.

  • Grid bills that only go up

Every tariff revision lands straight on your cost per garment.

Solar units cost a fraction of the grid tariff, fixed for 25 years.

    25–40%lower grid bill

  • Production lost to load-shedding

A dropped feeder stops dyeing and washing lines mid-batch.

Hybrid designs carry critical lines on battery through the outage.

    < 20 msswitchover to battery

  • Diesel at Tk 28–32 a unit

Gensets are your most expensive, noisiest electricity.

Solar and storage move the genset to last-resort standby.

    60–80%less genset runtime

  • Buyer sustainability audits

Brands ask for renewable share, Scope 2 and CO₂ numbers.

Metered generation and CO₂ reports your auditors can rely on.

Off-grid · Hybrid · Net-metering

Three ways to connect a rooftop plant.

The difference is the battery and the grid. Your outage pattern and load profile decide which one pays back best.

Grid-tied, no battery

Net-metering in Bangladesh

Under the SREDA Net Metering Guideline, grid-connected rooftop systems can export surplus to DESCO, DPDC, REB/PBS and other distribution utilities, with exported units netted against imports on your bill. System capacity is generally capped at 70% of sanctioned load. We prepare the application, single-line diagram and metering paperwork.

How we estimate

Tk 12/kWh grid tariff (Tk 30/kWh diesel for off-grid), 1,300 kWh/kWp/yr yield, 90 sq ft per kWp, 70% daytime load. Indicative only — not a quotation.

Net-metered, grid-connected with backup, or fully independent. All three are engineered, installed and maintained by one team.

FAQ

Rooftop questions, answered by engineers

Leaks, weight, cyclones, dust and what happens to your bill.

Ask an engineer

On trapezoidal and standing-seam sheet we use clamp-on rails that grip the seam or rib without drilling through the sheet. Where fixings must penetrate, every point is sealed with EPDM washers and covered by our leak-proofing warranty. RCC roofs use ballasted or chemically anchored frames.

A rooftop array adds roughly 12–15 kg/m² — far less than most people expect. We still survey every purlin, truss and column before design, and if a section is under-strength we either reinforce it or leave it out of the layout.

Mounting structures are designed to the BNBC 2020 basic wind speed for your district, with extra margin on coastal sites in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Khulna. Fixings are stainless or hot-dip galvanised to resist salt air and humidity.

Unmanaged industrial and road dust can cut yield by 5–15% in the dry season. We set a cleaning cycle — typically every 2–4 weeks from November to April — and monitoring flags any string that drops below its expected output.

If load-shedding costs you production, choose hybrid: the battery keeps critical lines running. If your feeder is stable and your load is mostly daytime, net-metering without batteries has lower capex and a faster payback. The site assessment models both against your bills.

Yes. Under a RESCO lease or PPA we finance, own and maintain the plant; you pay only for the units it generates, at a rate below your grid tariff, with an option to buy the system later.

Typically 12 years on modules with a 30-year linear performance guarantee, 5–10 years on inverters, 10 years or 6,000 cycles on LFP batteries, and 5 years on workmanship and leak-proofing.
